Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009

The AML/CFT Act was passed in 2009 and is effective from 30 June 2013. The Act places obligations on New Zealand financial institutions and casinos to detect and deter money laundering and terrorism financing.

The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism brochure has been developed by the Financial Services Federation to help customers of FSF members to understand the implications of the AML/CFT Act 2009.
